Tamwell Telescoping Basin Wrench - Complete with 1 Roll of Plumber Tape

Durable

Your basin wrench has hardened forged steel jaws for superior wear and are plated to prevent rust while working in damp and wet environments. These large pivoting jaws can feed lines on kitchen and bathroom faucets. It has a pivoting gripping head that sits at the end of the long handle and is designed to reach up into that awkward, inaccessible space behind a sink to tighten or loosen the mounting nuts on a faucet or the flexible supply tube nuts that connect to the end of the faucet tailpieces.

Flexible One-Hand Ratcheting

Sliding T-handle offers added leverage and helps avoid contact with the wall or pipes. Your faucet wrench has spring loaded jaws (3/8" to 1-1/4") for one-hand ratcheting in hard to reach areas. Tension plug holds the head in any position up to a 90-degree angle.

How to Use

To use, pivot the head of your basin wrench so it is perpendicular to the shaft and faces the correct position for loosening or tightening the nut. To loosen the nut, turn the wrench counterclockwise. The opening of the claw on the head should be on the right. To tighten the nut, you will turn the wrench clockwise and the opening of the claw should be at the left. Remember that you are looking at the nut from the perspective of lookin up at it from under the sink.

Roll of Plumber Tape

Included in this deal is 1 roll of plumbers tape. Tape is wrapped clockwise around plastic, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel or pipe's threads at least three times and it helps to provide a strong tight seal for threaded joints.
